CONCISE OVERVIEW OF ISRAEL, THE NATIONS, AND THE CHURCH, IN THEIR GOD-GIVEN PREDETERMINED POSITION Acts 17:24-31.

King David would be punished for his sin with Bathsheba: II Sam. 11:1–12:11. Fulfilled when Absalom murdered Amnon to avenge Tamar: 13:1–39. Absalom also rebelled & was killed: II Sam. 14:1–18:33. | The Ammonites would be punished for killing Jewish women & children: Amos 1:13–15. Fulfilled by Assyria in ± 732 B.C., Nebuchadnezzar also devastated them: Jer. 27:1–7 | Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords, will rule over the whole Earth and will establish again the Davidic Kingdom here on Earth: Isa. 9:7 & 11:1–5; Jer. 23:5–6, 30:9 & 33:14–17. | THE LORD WILL RETURN: Our Lord will return and will judge all nations according to their sins & their treatment of the Jewish people: Joel 3:9– 16; Zech. 14:2–4; Matt. 25:31–46. Fulfilled in: II Kings 23:15–20 | Babylon would be captured by the Medes and the Persians: Isa. 21:1–9; Jer. 25:11–12 & 51:1–14. Fulfilled in ± 539 B.C.: Daniel 5:25–30. | Israel will receive a double blessing in their land: Isa. 61:7. Israel was promised to return home under King Cyrus (after 70 years of slavery in Babylon due to their idolatry): Isa. 44:21 –45:5 & Jer. 25:11–12. Fulfilled in Ezra 1–2 & Dan. 9:1–12. | Daniel prophesied of the four kingdoms that would rule the world – ending with Christ destroying them at the end of the Tribulation years: Dan. 2:36–45, 7:1–14 | Israel will dwell in peace & safety in the Promised Land (Jer. 23:6).
